Balston Nitrogen Generators for the LAB
Selecting the most effective source for high purity gases is a critical issue for analytical chemists. Nitrogen gas is used for a variety of disciplines including Gas Chromatography (GC), Liquid Chromatographic System with Mass Spectrometric Detector (LCMS), Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP), and Thermal Analysis.
FID Makeup Gas Generators
      Parker   Balston MGG-400NA and MGG-2500NA Make up Gas Generators can provide   nitrogen and zero air to flame ionization detectors on gas   chromatographs.  These systems are specifically designed to provide only   nitrogen gas or both nitrogen and zero air to 5 or 6 FIDs.  The   nitrogen from the system is 99.9999+% pure with respect to hydrocarbons   (suitable for FID Make up gas) and is 99+% pure in trace with respect to   oxygen and water vapor.  The zero air compartment produces up to 2500   cc/min of zero grade air.
Nitrogen Generators with Research Grade Purity
      The   Parker Balston models HPN2 and UHPN2 are completely engineered to   transform standard compressed air into 99.99% or 99.9999% nitrogen,   exceeding the specification of UHP cylinder gas.  These systems can   produce up to 1.1 lpm of UHP nitrogen gas and up to 2.0 lpm of research   grade purity nitrogen gas.  Typical applications include GC carrier gas   and makeup gas and low flow sample concentrations.
ICP Nitrogen Generator
      The   Parker Balston 76-97NA and 76-98NA ICP Nitrogen Generators can produce 5   to 12 lpm of ultra high purity (UHP) nitrogen gas at purities of   99.9999% or 99.995%. A Parker Balston Nitrogen Generator will produce a   continuous supply of nitrogen and extend ICP analysis into far-UV range   below 170 (nm).
Nitrogen Generators for Sample Evaporators
      The   Parker Balston NitroVap-1LV and NitroVap-2LV Nitrogen Generators can   provide clean, ultra-dry nitrogen to sample evaporators.  These systems   are ideal for any combination of sample evaporators up to 100 nozzle   positions and accelerate evaporation by decreasing the partial vapor   pressure above the solvent liquid.  These systems also offer a   convenient SLEEP economny mode to eliminate compressed air consumption   when the sample concentrator is not in use.
LCMS Nitrogen Generators
        The   Parker Balston NitroFlow 60 LCMS Nitrogen Generator will produce up to   60 slpm of pure LCMS grade nitrogen at pressures of up to 110 psig and   is ideal for today's higher flow, ultra sensitive LCMS instruments. 
        
        The Parker Balston Source LCMS TriGas Generator will deliver pure   nitrogen for curtain gas, zero grade air as gas-1/gas-2 source gases,   and dry -40°/-40°C dew point air as source exhaust.  The system is   designed to produce gases which meet and exceed the requirements of any   LC/MS requiring three independent gases.
  
  Nitrogen Generators for Low, Mid, and High Flow Applications - LCMS, nebulizer gas, chemical and solvent evaporation, instrument purge and supply, evaporative light scattering (ELSD) and sparging
  Parker   Balston Low and Mid Flow Nitogen Generators produce up to 61 SLPM of   compressed nitrogen on site.  The purity level of the nitrogen stream is   defined by the user, for the application, and may range from 95% to   99.5%. 
  
        Nitrogen Generators for High Flow Applications
        Parker Balston High Flow Nitrogen Generators produce up to 467 SLPM of   compressed nitrogen on site with purities ranging from 95% to 99.5%. 
Balston Nitrogen Generators eliminate dangerous, costly high pressure nitrogen gas cylinders from the laboratory and require minimal maintenance. Models are available with compressors and oxygen monitors. Return on investments are typically within 6 months to 2 years.
